Post 14

I have been working on images all weekend and feel that I finally have a good amount of images to put together a great portfolio. I have all the images printed out and ready for crit tomorrow. I think I need to sit down with them all and sort them which ones I for sure want in the portfolio and the order in which I want them to appear. I want to get some input on what images everyone likes the best and just really analyze which images are the strongest and best portray the message I want to get across.

I am also working on my artist statement and grade statement. I think the artist statement will be really easy to write because I have a really solid idea of what I am doing and I feel like its the strong message that will be easy for me to explain in words. I will have a harder time with the grade statement, but I kind of always have a hard time with that. I like having to do them, but they are kinda tough to write.

I am going to bust out the matt boards this week as well. I have all the materials and just need to figure out the measurements for the windows, which since I am so awful at math, it doesn't come easy to me. haha. I will update again after the crit with some final choice images and hopefully new suggestions that I can implement. Speaking of implementation; I made some changes to some of the images from last crit that were suggested. I think they turned out really well:

It looks kind of salmon pink again, so I might have to adjust it again. I have a print that looks slightly different. I will see what is said in crit.

I fixed the exposure in the corner like suggested and I think it looks better!
